P.hD in Social Work

The department offers both Full-time and Part-time Ph.D programmes under Tiruvalluvar University. The candidate should have obtained a Masters degree with not less than second class or equivalent grade or 55 % marks in the qualifying examination. The admission procedure will be according to Tiruvalluvar University guidelines which can be obtained from the University office.

Department has 3 Ph.D Research Guides and 7 M.Phil Guides.

So far, 16 scholars have received their Ph. D. degree in Social Work and 2 scholars are currently pursuing their Ph.D.

Application form for the Ph.D programme has to be obtained from Tiruvalluvar University, during every quarter of a year.
